Full transparency

How pricing works

We believe you should understand exactly where every dollar goes. No fine print, no surprises at checkout.

For sellers

You set your price. That's your payout.

CurX charges sellers a flat monthly subscription — not a percentage of each sale. When you list a card at $50, $50 is what gets deposited to your account after the buyer confirms delivery.

No commission. No surprise deductions. Your listing price is your payout.

For buyers

The price you see is never the final price — but you'll always know what you're paying before you confirm.

Listing prices are set by sellers. At checkout, CurX automatically calculates and displays the complete total — including a small platform fee and any applicable taxes based on your location. You'll see the full breakdown before you ever enter a payment method.

There is no hidden charge after confirmation. What the checkout screen shows is exactly what your card is charged.

Why is there a platform fee?

Every card transaction on CurX runs through Stripe, the same payment processor used by Amazon and Shopify. Stripe charges us a fee on every transaction — we can't absorb that cost while also keeping seller payouts whole.

Rather than quietly deduct it from sellers (the way eBay, TCGPlayer, and most marketplaces do), we pass it to the buyer transparently at checkout. The fee also covers:

  • CurX Safe Pay escrow — your payment is held until delivery is confirmed
  • Human dispute review — a real person handles every claim
  • Fraud protection and identity verification
  • Platform maintenance, support, and infrastructure

We'd rather tell you this upfront than bury it in a terms page.

CurX Safe Pay

When you purchase a card, your payment is held in escrow — it doesn't reach the seller until you confirm the card arrived and matches the listing. If there's a problem, you have a window to open a dispute before funds are released.

Sellers: your payout is released automatically after the buyer confirms, or after the dispute window closes with no issue filed. No chasing payments.
